MINE.THE.GAP honoured as “Best European Project” at Spanish Cluster Congress 2022
The project MINE.THE.GAP received the award of “Best European Project” given by the Spanish Federation of Clusters, Clusters.es, at the Spanish Cluster Congress held in Valencia on 7th and 8th November 2022. The award honours the exceptional contributions of MINE.THE.GAP to foster the collaboration between clusters in Europe and recognises the work that the clusters have accomplished during the last two years in international promotion of SMEs and European activities for innovation in green mining and sustainable solutions to the supply of raw materials in Europe.
The decision was made by the evaluation committee of the Spanish Federation of Clusters, reviewing the achievements of the project and the impact on cluster collaboration and SMEs.
Project coordinator Santiago Cuesta López accepted the award on behalf of the MINE.THE.GAP consortium and thanked the team for their cooperation and dedication to this project.
The awards for best cluster collaborations are given every year by the Spanish Federation of Clusters at their annual cluster congress. This year, the congress took place in the context of the 5th Connected Industry Congress. The clusters met to discuss the role of clusters in the green and digital transition of the Spanish and European economy, and how to increase industrial resilience through collaboration.
