The MINE.THE.GAP Final Event was a truly successful side event of the EU Raw Materials Week. It was an remarkable opportunity for those interested on:

• The impact and lessons learned from MINE.THE.GAP success story
• The follow-up initiatives planned to deliver more funds for innovative SMEs
• New projects and opportunities for the mining sector
• European Commission Regional Innovation Valleys (RIVs) and Euroclusters ecosystem

Project partners can only appreciate the participation in the roundtables of Benoit Esmanne (EC) and Milena Stoyanova-Colas (EISMEA), and our colleagues from the OECD and S3P Mining Industry.

The event was also an opportunity to learn about the best technologies generated during the project in a short pitching session. So, we highlight the participation of the companies: J&C Bachmann, MNLT Innovations and ENVISOL.

Besides, there is a clear commitment from regional authorities to participate in future initiatives, which we believe is another clear sign that the results of MINE.THE.GAP are tangible and had an impact in the territories.

Our consortium is sending a message: we plan to join forces to continue our work in similar initiatives!
