Impressions from the MMH 2022

On 18 October, 18 SMEs presented the R&D projects that they are developing with MINE.THE.GAP support at this year’s Mining and Minerals Hall 2022 (MMH). The MMH is a world meeting that gathers the present and future knowledge of mining. It took place at the Seville Conference and Exhibition Centre (FIBES) and welcomed professionals of the industry from all over the world.

These companies presented their specialisations and services:

  • EDAFOTEC – Contaminated and degraded soils; landscape restoration; polluted water; biochar; artificial soils
  • MONOLITHOS – Automotive catalytic converters and DPFs manufacturing; recycling and assaying of platinum group metals
  • ARROW4D – Digital quarry and mine management systems, geophysics services, industrial automation for ornamental stone
  • J&C Bachmann – X-ray based online measuring devices for elemental analysis of bulk materials and slurries; customised measuring solutions
  • LEKATECH – Fully electric breaker hammer coming commercially available in one year
  • LeonOre – Development of metal mining projects (iron ore, copper, zinc, lead, silver and gold) by providing technical, logistic, financial and trading applications; trading of metals, minerals and raw materials specialized in iron ore
  • AMP – Process engineering and design plants and equipment for the efficient treatment of minerals, sand, gravel, clay, chemical and other raw materials processed by various industries
  • COMET – R&D&i project management services; usability studies / UCD-UX user experience; IT services; communication for European projects; advertising services-mass media
  • Terranigma – Creators of the open-source geomodeling software GemPy;  cloud-based geological modelling; remote & real-time collaboration on 3D geodata; field-office connectivity & digitized in-field work; native mixed reality developments; automation and machine learning in geosciences
  • SIGMA – Smart analysis more than 400 electrical parameters for any machine, identifying which equipment and when it really needs to be maintained
  • IPControl – Industrial and occupational/workplace safety, specialised in mining
  • TECMINA – Engineering and consulting in mining, environment, geomatic, training, energy, industry, geology, civil works, safety and security
  • MNLT – Development of material prototypes; valorisation and (novel) products commercialisation; product/process Life Cycle Cost Analysis; product/process designing and development
  • Perforaciones Noroeste – Execution all types of drilling and blasting (mining & quarrying); blasting in demolition industrial & civil works
  • TORO GIPS – Solutions for the food, polymers and biopolymers industries, based on natural gypsum, exceeding 99% purity
  • ATEGLOB – Mining, underground and civil works offer waterproofing and consolidation using foams; industry and civil works with special anti-oxidation and anti-thermal using coatings; others with technical waterproof crystal cements and bio enzymatic systems
  • TERRADAT – Non-invasive, low cost and rapid coverage geophysical exploration
  • ABAUT – Hardware & IoT, digital services and software & Al, integrating all mining operation data in one platform
