Invest Day: 1st June in Madrid

MINE.THE.GAP organises an Invest Day for small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) in Madrid, Spain, on 1st June 2023. The event offers matchmaking and business opportunities among raw materials investors, venture capital firms, family office and private investors, and first level tech-based companies working across the raw materials value chain.

The event will take place at Hotel Emperador, C/ Gran Vía, 53, 28013 Madrid.

At the Invest Day, the participants will discuss the current framework for investing in raw materials projects to boost the implantation of key enabling technologies for ensuring the sustainable supply of raw materials to the EU industry. They will also analyse policy barriers, policy and institutional mechanisms of investment that can facilitate the acquisition of advanced forefront technologies into a sector that will be strategic for the EU economy in the coming years.

Agenda: 

  • Session I: Investing in Raw Materials: The global framework and picture (9:00 – 11:15)
  • Session II: Institutional Investment mechanisms (11:15 – 14:00)
  • Session III: Business and investment matching opportunities (14:00 – 17:30)

The event is open to all SMEs that passed to Business Hub 2 and received funding from the MINE.THE.GAP project.
