Invitation: MINE.THE.GAP Workshop “Interregional Cooperation on Raw Materials” on 11 May

The MINE.THE.GAP consortium invites you to the Inter-Platform Workshop “Challenges and Opportunities for Interregional Cooperation of Raw Materials and Mining Regions and Clusters” that will take place in Brussels on 11 May 2022 from 10:00 to 16:00 (CET).

Regions and clusters play an important role in the development of innovation system for SMEs. The MINE.THE.GAP Inter-Platform Workshop will bring together European regional bodies, S3 platforms and clusters from different industrial value chains to discuss common threats, challenges and solutions for interregional cooperation in the frame of regional policies and cluster activities. The workshop will be held in English.

The workshop is open to all stakeholders that work in the raw materials and mining sector. There are in total three sessions,

  • Session I: Interregional cooperation in the development of innovation eco-systems for raw materials sector,
  • Session II: Interregional cooperation in the frame of cluster activities;
  • Panel discussion.

It will be a physical meeting at Hilton Grand Place Brussels.

The MINE.THE.GAP Inter-Platform Workshop will be a good opportunity to learn about different formats of cross-regional collaborations and the experiences from the experts and clusters involved. Please see here the agenda.
